Poem: Mind Temples (27 connected haiku)

Jesus lit a path
Exposed the illusions here
He walked on water

Peter did also
until worry made him sink
“Teacher, please save me!”

“Ye of little faith”
Jesus commanded the waves
His words could stop storms

In the beginning
God’s creation was perfect
Jesus was the Word

The Word that brought life
Seperated dark from light
Creation spoken

Creation through words
“You can do all of this too”
True faith is the key

“Faith can move mountains”
“Your faith has healed you,” He said
“Faith has set you free”

That’s why they killed Him
fueled by narcissistic fears
stuck in rituals

He terrified them
by speaking the absolute
His voice was pure truth

Heaven is a space
that’s free of all delusions
that’s where God resides

None of us is God
but those that believe—-are His
lost and found children

I’m no longer here
struggling in satan’s lies
my ego has died

All good comes from God
God resides within temples
Temples in our mind

True power’s service
humility leads to truth
That’s what Jesus taught

the last will be first
true leadership is service
the first will be last

washed dirty feet clean
He had compassion for them
the devil’s selfish

Satan’s insecure
insatiable greed and lust
he can’t get enough

Jesus gave His all
He could’ve climbed off that cross
willing sacrifice

He asked—-accepted
He said, “not my will, but Yours”
He drank from God’s cup

He said, “Forgive them
for they know not what they do”
He showed us the way

from darkness to day
blindness, to inner knowing
death is not the end

“Forgive your brother”
we’re an ancient family
someday we’ll go home

back to reunion
with God the eternal truth
“Love one another

as you love yourself”
said, “Do this in remembrance”
Love is selflessness

exquisite surprise
no more clouds in our blind eyes
veils will be lifted

because we’re the Bride
atoned and reunified
no more fear or tears

except tears of Yes
gratitude tears, elated
answered prayers’ joy
