You have always seen the true shape and soul of humanity, Judy. I think of the Apostles and John The Baptist in the New Testament. The elites did not want to hear the truth nor God’s message and, like John the Baptist, murder was the way to silence unwanted truth. Yet, those few who did listen brought forth the message of salvation to us today. What can we do but be the example, teach in the savior’s way, and pray for those who do and do not accept the plan of salvation.
Thank you very much, Dan. Well said—we must be the example and pray for all. The apostles faced so much opposition, I think they were all martyred, except for John, (not John the Baptist), he was truly remarkable. I think a time will come (perhaps in our lifetime) that Christians will again be martyred. The world has gotten so unbelievably dark.
Apathy has been programmed into us. Distractions, false flags, institutionalized shallowness and stupidity have brought us to this present state. “As in the days of Noah” the Bible explained it clearly but few can see what’s happening.
I absolutely see the parallels of the Old Testament in our lives today and The New Testament tells us of the desperation of the poor for the salvation Jesus promised and the rich and powerful established rulers and elites were desperate to stop him. We are just milling around asking God to drop some fire and brimstone on us. I think the constant conflicts of the 20th and 21st century, along with climate disasters, disease and unwellness should wake us up a wee bit, but no, humanity has pretty much lost it. Judgement Day is going to see a very small group of souls ascending and Hell is going to be mighty crowded. However, we can choose to walk with our savior and be a good example. It’s okay to be among the few and eschew the many who would tempt us away from God’s mercy and love.
Well said, my friend. Really great summary of the Old and New Testament. We are in, or are quickly approaching—“As in the days of Noah…” people have been brainwashed to think bad is good, literally a reversal. “Do as thou wilt is the whoke of the law” taught by evil, Crowley is now part of mainstream culture, rephrased as, “ if it feels good—do it”. Anyone that challenges that, is a “hater” according to them. Common decency is no longer common. I get very upset about the state of apathy and ignorance but need to refocus on my own actions. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, Dan. Sorry for my late response.
It’s our individual faith kept strong in the face of whatever the secular world throws at us that is key to spiritual survival. We can do that. We will do that.
Agreed. This life is temporary; I think what the secular world worships is narcissism; it’s the opposite of wisdom. Wheat vs the tares. Following Jesus is denying yourself and picking up the cross. Death of the ego, embracing selflessness.
I see so many lost in worldly affairs. They have no time to reflect on themselves and where their life is headed. The evil of the world is now out in the open and still they can’t turn away from it. Our day of judgement is not the day we want to find ourselves lacking in merit.
Totally agree, the shallow distractions (bread and circus) are all that the majority spend their focus on. They don’t seem to want to consider anything deeper. The IQ level has dropped to a near zombie level. I think social programming has made them adore wickedness as a cool way to be. Maybe when it gets completely evil; some will snap out of the trance.
I like the analogy of bread and circus. I think many will see the light before it’s too late, but many more will simply perish by the evil they embraced. That is the Dark Lord’s plan. Temp them with hedonistic pleasures and burn them to ash with the fire’s of iniquity.
I was thinking today that God’s true children will always return to the truth, before it’s too late. That’s what happened to me after 29 yrs of being a New Ager, I returned back to Christianity when I realized how pervasive occultism (hedonism = narcissism) is in most governments/pop culture/education system etc and I believe that God’s children aren’t a genetic group, we’re related by faith. I hope people will wake up but the Bible says “Don’t throw pearls to swine…” it’s so true.
You are so right Judy. I do believe the faithful are returning to their savior. They have seen the light in the darkness. The Shepard will take care of his flock.
“I was lost, but now am found, was blind but now I see” Amazing Grace :). The Shepherd will leave temporarily his flock (the already saved), to search for His lost sheep.
I love that song and the example of the lost sheep because it truly represents how Christ wants all of us to be found and share in his plan of salvation for us. We aren’t promised lives without challenge on earth, we are promised eternal life with Heavenly Father and Jesus. It’s a great plan 😃
Amen, my friend. It is a great plan; well worth the challenges. I truly believe we are only given as much challenges as we can handle. God is merciful and wise beyond our understanding. ❤️
Matthew 7:13-14 – Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
This world continues to turn a blind eye towards the truth and continues to brainwash the masses.
Blessings always, my friend. God will never leave or forsake you 🙏🏽🕊️✝️
I agree, my friend. Discernment from the Holy Spirit is greatly needed to wake up the sleeping masses but most don’t want to know they’ve been brainwashed. I cried when I realized I’d been fooled (by New Age and celebrities etc). It was a mourning process to let go of the illusions. Blessings always to you too, my friend 🤗✝️🕊️
This haiku in 16 variations is certainly an insightful and spot on accurate analysis of the contemporary world, Judy.

The Islamic extremists and our own apathy pose the greatest threat to Christianity since the Roman Empire.
