Don’t Wait Til You’re Old

1
Don’t wait til you’re old
life creeps than it speeds past you
childhood shines golden

2
Regrets can haunt you
Don’t wait til your hair turns gray
Be wise while you’re young

3
Don’t dream through your life
then wonder why you feel numb
treasure family

4
Lift off depression
lose your pride, find forgiveness
open up your eyes

5
Surrender your life
to the service of goodness
Gain true peace of mind

6
Hold your mother’s hands
As if it’s your last chance to
Someday she’ll be gone

7
You’ll long to see her
All you’ll have are photographs
precious memories

    1. Thank you, Sylvester. Difficult but meaningful lessons, life is speeding by, the older we get. Amazing how that is.

      1. Thank you, my friend. It’s interesting how the older memories from childhood and teen years seem more real/defined somehow.
